here is nothing more gratifying to me in the interior design field than setting the finishing touches into place of any project. It is the "wow" factor of the room and it is achieved when you look about your room and finally say..."This room is done." It is the completeness that leaves you satisfied when you walk into your room. When you feel joyful and the space makes you happy it is a job well done. All rooms need the pieces of furniture for you to function in your space, or TVs to watch, and upholstery to sit on or storage to keep the area organized. However, the room isn't quite yet complete. Perhaps you need a rug to soften the room underfoot or lamps to help you see better, or artwork that makes you smile or that special item you value when you see it. partner with someone to reassess your space. Decorative accessorizing is the art of balancing shapes, sizes, and colors. It is the art of display that enhances the look, feel and function of the room. Accessories fall into the categories of art, wall décor, mirrors, lamps, greenery, florals, and everything else. The "everything else" can look that becomes much more interesting to look at together than in separate spaces. Sometimes it is important to find a piece of furniture that shows off the accessories and gives them a gallery feel. The important thing is to balance the room to enhance the comfort of the room and adds joy to the way you feel. One often overlooked area is your work place. What is the impression that your customer sees when they come to visit you at work? Is it inviting or do you struggle to find them a place to sit? Does your work space let people see your personality? Does your work space bring enhanced creativity? Does it invite people in? And what does it say about your organization? These are important things to review, especially in today's economy. Decorative accessories are the fun part of a project. And when you reach this part, you know you are on the home stretch...Just remember that there is a proper order to achieve the "finished" look. For more information, please visit www.
